• Previously part of Anthony Grant’s staff at VCU.
Along with Grant, he coached VCU to three-straight CAA conference
championships.
• Brannen also coached Division II ball at University of
Charleston. While there, the team posted a 28-4 record and appeared
in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
• Scored 1,008 points in just two seasons at Marshall after
transferring from Morehead State.
