Here at Arizona State, the 2010-2011 season was an up and down year. We gave ourselves a chance to win most nights, but things don't always go the way you want them to. We lost six games this season that were one possession games with two minutes or less.

By now, we are several games into the conference season, and teams are beginning to solidify their position in the conference standings. Unfortunately, our record isn't where we hoped it would be, however that hasn't stopped us from making strides.

Hey Devils fans! We had a very good season this year. Most people had ASU picked near the bottom of the Pac10 after losing Jeff Pendergraph and James Harden to the NBA. The team had not only new faces but players who had to assume new roles on the court. We were fortunate to have experienced players like Derek Glasser, Eric Boateng, and Jerren Shipp in our senior class.

Hello Sun Devil fans! Feels like just yesterday I was writing to you about our first couple of games this season. Just goes to show that once the season gets going it goes fast. With four regular season games remaining on the schedule we are still in the hunt for a Pac-10 regular season championship. The league is up for grabs for several teams as we make our way to the end of conference play.

It is good to be back on College Chalktalk with all the Sun Devil fans. Things are going well for the Sun Devils now at 4-2 in the first third of the Pac-10 season. You often hear coaches say that anything can happen on any given night when you play a game. People often dismiss that as "coach talk" but in the Pac-10 this year that is definitely the case.

I want to begin by giving a quick recap on the ASU season so far. This has been a good non-conference start for the Sun Devils. We had some competitive games against some top competition.

I am excited about the season! I would like to take the time to thank all of the people at College Chalktalk for allowing me to interact with the fans throughout the season. This web site and feature has a lot of great coaches sharing their knowledge of their respective programs and the game of basketball with the fans. I encourage everyone to check out the different diaries on the site.
