• Odom begins his second season at Charlotte after spending seven years as an assistant at Virginia Tech.

• An outstanding up-and-coming assistant coach, Odom has strong ties throughout the southeastern United States, particularly Virginia and North Carolina.  At Charlotte, he'll recruit and also play a key role in player development.

• Odom is the son of former Wake Forest and South Carolina head coach Dave Odom.
