
• Captain of the Central Michigan Basketball team as a
junior and senior, led the Chippewas to the 2001 Mid America
Conference Championship.
• Before coming to Dayton, Borovich spent time as a graduate
assistant at Michigan State University where he assisted in video
analysis while completing his masters degree in Athletics
Administration.
• An upcoming assistant coach, Borovich cut his teeth as the
Director of Operations at UD before being promoted in 2007.

Dan Fox, one of our senior walk-ons can be defined in many ways. Some might say hard working. Some might say selfless. I like to simply say, "A great teammate".
I can remember the first time I met Dan Fox as if it were yesterday. I had just recently been hired back at the University of Dayton in August of 2007.

The grind of the conference season is upon us. For most of us the non-conference season is in the rear-view mirror and the challenges of one of the most difficult conferences in the country lies ahead. Looking at the calendar it's basically two games every week from this point forward and every game provides a different challenge.

NCDS: Jon Borovich, Asst. Coach - Dayton
Two nights ago marked the 500th win for the Dayton Flyers in the University of Dayton Arena. It was a special night for all of those that were able to be a part of such a impressive accomplishment. Coach Gregory said it best, "What a great honor to be a small part of the rich tradition of the Dayton Flyer basketball program. 500 wins is a testament to all of the hard work put forth by the former players and coaches."

Happy Thanksgiving everyone, we all have so much to be thankful for!
After practice Thursday, our team went to the Dayton Convention Center in downtown Dayton to volunteer for the "Dayton Feast of Giving". This time of year is all about giving and our guys were part of 500 volunteers who helped serve over 3000 people in need a warm thanksgiving meal.
