
• One of the rising assistant coaches in the game, Skerry has extensive east coast ties and is well-known as an excellent recruiter. At Pitt, Skerry's responsibilities will include recruiting, scouting and player development.
• When he was named head coach at Curry College in 1996,
Skerry was just 26 years old. Since leaving Curry in 1998,
Skerry has worked for five Division One programs (Providence, Pitt,
Rhode Island, Northeastern and William & Mary) in the past 12
seasons.
• Skerry holds the Tufts career record for assists, compiling
650 during his playing days.

As the end of January comes and February rolls around this is obviously the time of year when you want to be playing your best basketball. Trying to peak for the stretch run of your conference season, conference tournament and the post season is a paramount goal for every program throughout the country.
