March is here and we are leaving for Las Vegas today for the WCC Tournament. Our tournament moved to a neutral site last year and it was an exciting time in the Orleans Arena with a sold out crowd and this year is sold out as well.

I hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and enjoyed some quality time with their family. It is always an interesting time of year for college basketball as our players have no class and some get the one opportunity during the season to go home for a few days.

Six games into our season and we are like a lot of teams across the nation in the way of trying to set a consistent rotation, find an identity, and go on the road to win. We are the 12th youngest team amongst all Division 1 teams and we have looked like it at times so far.

First of all, I am very excited about being involved with College Chalktalk's National Coaches' Diary Series and want to personally thank Chris DiSano for the invitation. We are approaching the final two weeks of practice before we all start playing games and get our season going. It is an exciting time here at Santa Clara as we have young team filled with no seniors, three juniors, three sophomores, and five freshmen.
