Big 12 Notebook: Buffs showing promise
Colorado hasn’t been ranked in the top 25 since 2005-06. With a new coach and little depth in the paint—the Buffs entered conference play with only one player taller than 6-7 with significant experience—there was little reason to think CU will do little more than meet the expectations of the preseason when it was picked ninth by the league coaches.
One thing though: No one mentioned this to the Buffaloes.
