About College Chalktalk

 

Founded in 2007, College Chalktalk began as a website dedicated to inside the lines coverage of the Atlantic 10 Conference.  Over the past four years, College Chalktalk has expanded its coverage and now possesses relationships with schools and coaching staffs in nearly every conference in the nation.  College Chalktalk has earned respect throughout the coaching community and is committed to analysis which is credible and accurate.

Prior to the 2009-10 season, we launched the National Coaches' Diary Series. The first and only of its kind, the NCDS runs each November through March, and features almost 90 coaches - and counting - from over 25 different conferences contributing to College Chalktalk, providing monthly insight into their respective teams or tackling hot-button issues in today's game. 

In January 2010, College Chalktalk became strategic partners with Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook, long considered the bible of college basketball.  Later that same year, College Chalktalk spun out Secondary Break, its blog.  Several contributors, including journalists, color commentators and radio personalities for schools across the nation write regularly with Secondary Break -- offering accurate, quick-hitting coverage.

This year, we're happy to unveil this new site design and announce that we've partnered with Rising Coaches Elite - an outstanding organization for young coaches, and the Gazelle Group, which brings us all events like the Legends Classic, 2K Sports Classic, CBE Classic, and the College Basketball Invitational.
